SPAIN IS EUROPE
Spain is a European country that belongs to the European Union since 1985. It also signed the Schengen agreement in 1991, which allows our citizens to move freely around all the European Union territory.
This treaty not only facilitates business within the Union, also with 3rd countries that signed agreements with Europe. It is also specifically interesting the educational mobility of university students and encouraged by the Socrates Program, which allows students to study a semester abroad.
Spain is also the 4th European economy and right now is the country of the union which economy experiments the fastest growth.
CATALONIA THE MOST INTERNATIONAL
Catalonia has been always a strategic point in the Spanish territory, with strong bonds with European and other international territories. It was also one of the first industrialized parts of the country, which has created a strong industrial fabric reinforced by the long business tradition of the Catalans. Barcelona is nurturing from that character and has been creating innovating companies, especially on the new technologies field, created in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
